Canton Builders Office Hours: HackCanton showcase

CrossDesk presented on Canton Builders Office Hours: HackCanton, a builders' panel hosted on the Canton Network Discord Builder Stage alongside two other Season 2 teams. The slot showed the wrapper-mark fixing — a benchmark print and a committee-attested par factor as two signed fields, and a venue attestation refused by the ledger when its observed range does not contain the price — running on the hosted sandbox.

The hosted desk is a sandbox, not a Canton Network participant. A participant remains the standing blocker to a DevNet deployment.

Signer protocol, version 1

The rulebook for the people who sign a fixing: per seat, the named conditions a member verifies before confirming — redemption integrity for the issuer, book acceptance for the lender, the observed traded range for the venue — with the venue's range enforced on the ledger. The protocol is served as data by the API and the desk renders its checkboxes from it.

Best Financial Application — HackCanton Season 2 Grand Final

CrossDesk was awarded Best Financial Application at the HackCanton Season 2 Grand Final. The entry was the sealed closing auction, the K-of-N committee fixing, and in-kind creation and redemption settling against it, running as a Daml package on the shared hackathon participant. During the season 4.16 real cBTC was claimed through a CIP-56 registry flow onto the desk's parties, on the issuer's own templates.
